All About Walkie Talkie Systems

A walkie talkie, more officially called a hand-held portable transceiver, is a two-way low-frequency radio communication system that is used in military and aviation applications. It is comparable in characteristics to today's standard walkie talkie (GSM) phone or PDA. The invention of this radio system by German radio engineers was diverse to earlier Radio Frequency Identification Systems (RFS) employed in military applications. During the Second World War, the development of this low-frequency system was differentially attributed to a group of German radio engineers known as the "Blitzkrieg".
