Walkie Talkie – The Ideal Communication Device For the Family
A walkie talkie, more officially known as a two-way hand-held radio transmitter, is an innovative hand-held transceiver developed during the Second World War. Its development during the Second World War was differentially attributed to German radio engineers, mainly Alfred J. Gross, Harry W. Mattick, George C. Mattick and George C. Tippett. The United States Army Signal Corps (USAC) used the walkie talkie in aiding operations in Europe against the German military. It utilizes radio waves to send and receive signals. In order to function, a transmitter first receives radio waves, which are converted into optical ones, then these become audio waves.
